Yummy or not :Apple Cream Coffee Cake recipe.

Ingredients
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 1/2 cups sugar, divided
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream
1 medium apple - peeled, cored and thinly sliced

Directions
Combine nuts, cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar; set aside. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter; gradually add remaining sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in vanilla. Combine dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream, beating well after each addition. Spread half of the batter in a well greased 10-in. tube pan with a removable bottom. Top with apple slices; sprinkle with half of the nut mixture. To with remaining batter, then with remaining nut mixture. Bake at 375 degrees F for 40 minutes or until cake tests done. Remove from oven; let stand 30 minutes. Loosen sides of cake; lift cake with removable bottom from pan. Cool. Before serving, carefully lift cake from pan.

Ingredients
1 cup chopped pecans
3 tablespoons butter
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 1/4 pounds butternut squash - peeled, seeded, and cubed
salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Directions
Place pecans on an ungreased baking sheet. Toast at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 5 to 8 minutes.
Melt butter in a large, heavy skillet over low heat; add onion, and saute until very tender, about 15 minutes. Stir in squash, and cover. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until squash is tender but still holds its shape, about 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Stir in half the pecans and half the parsley. Transfer mixture to a serving bowl. Sprinkle with remaining pecans and parsley to serve.

Ingredients
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, or more if needed
1 envelope Fleischmann's� Pizza Crust Yeast or RapidRise Yeast
3/4 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup water
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 ounces sausage, cooked and crumbled
1 cup frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon Durkee� Ground Mustard
1/2 teaspoon Durkee� Fine Grind Black Pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese*

Directions
Combine 1 cup flour, undissolved yeast and salt in a large bowl. Heat water and oil until very warm (120 degrees to 130 degrees F). Add to flour mixture and beat for 2 minutes. Add enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes. (If using RapidRise yeast, let dough rest at this point for 10 minutes.)
Roll dough to 12-inch circle; place in greased pizza pan. OR, pat dough with floured hands, pressing gently to fill greased pizza pan or baking sheet. Form a rim by pinching the edge of the dough; prick surface with fork.
Bake crust in preheated 450 degrees F oven on lowest oven rack for 8 minutes. Reduce oven to 375 degrees F. Remove pizza from oven.
Top pizza crust with sausage, hash browns and onions. Beat eggs, ground mustard, pepper and salt together in a bowl. Pour over toppings. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 16 to 20 minutes until eggs are set and crust is browned.

Ingredients
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 ounces fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 tablespoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 pound penne pasta
2 pints grape tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
salt and pepper to taste

Directions
Mince garlic cloves in food processor or blender. Add 1/3 of the basil leaves to the processor, and chop until fine. Pour in 1/2 cup of olive oil, and continue to process until mixture turns light yellow with flecks of basil. Add the balsamic vinegar; process just until combined.
Place the chicken breasts in a large zip-top storage bag along with 1 tablespoon salt, 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper, and the contents of the food processor. Squeeze air out of bag and seal. Allow chicken to marinate for 2 hours, or up to overnight, turning occasionally.
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
Brown chicken in a large skillet over large heat, about 4 to 5 minutes per side. Transfer chicken to a large baking dish, and place in the oven until cooked through, about 15 to 20 minutes. Remove chicken from oven, slice into 1/4 inch strips, and return to baking dish to absorb cooking juices. Keep warm.
While chicken is baking, bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat. Boil the pasta until cooked through, but still firm to the bite, about 11 minutes. Drain well. Stir the chicken and the juices from the baking dish into the hot pasta.
Thinly slice the remaining basil leaves, and place in a large serving bowl along with the tomatoes. Stir in 1/4 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar, and salt and pepper to taste. Top basil and tomatoes with the hot pasta, sauce, and chicken; toss to combine.

Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 tuna steaks
1 fresh mango - peeled, pitted, and chopped
1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
1/2 Spanish onion, finely chopped
1 green onion, chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon garlic powder
4 tablespoons olive oil

Directions
Whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, and garlic in a bowl. Rub the tuna steaks with the mixture. Place the steaks in a sealable container and chill in refrigerator 3 hours.
Combine the mango, bell pepper, Spanish onion, green onion, cilantro, and jalapeno pepper in a bowl; stir. Add the lime juice and 1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil and toss to combine. Chill in refrigerator 1 hour.
Stir together the paprika, cayenne pepper, onion powder, salt, pepper, thyme, basil, oregano, and garlic powder in a bowl. Remove the tuna steaks from the refrigerator and gently rinse with water and then dip each side of each steak in the spice mixture to coat.
Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Gently lay the tuna steaks into the hot oil. Cook the tuna on one side for 3 minutes; remove to a plate. Pour the remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil into the skillet and let it get hot. Lay the tuna with the uncooked side down into the skillet and cook another 3 minutes; remove from heat immediately.
Spoon about 1/2 cup of the mango salsa onto each of 4 plates. Lay the tuna steaks atop the salsa and serve immediately.

1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup apple butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup raisins

Directions
In a small mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg, oats and apple butter. Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to creamed mixture along with the milk; beat until blended. Stir in nuts and raisins. Cover and refrigerate until easy to handle.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes or until set. Remove to wire racks.

Ingredients
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
3 apples - peeled, cored and sliced
3 tablespoons dried currants
3 tablespoons pine nuts (optional)
1/3 cup apple juice
1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped (optional)
salt and pepper to taste

Directions
Heat oil in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Saute onions and garlic until soft and translucent. Move the onions to the side, and brown chicken breasts 4 minutes on each side. Top chicken with apples, currants and pine nuts. Pour in apple juice. Season with thyme, parsley, jalapeno, salt and pepper. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, or until apples are cooked and chicken is no longer pink.

1 cup apple cinnamon granola
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Mix together granola, flour, brown sugar, shortening, white sugar, egg, salt, vanilla extract and baking soda together in a medium size mixing bowl. Mix until well blended.
Drop by teaspoonfuls 1 1/2 inches apart on baking sheets.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.

Ingredients
2 cups finely chopped dried apricots
2 1/2 cups flaked coconut
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 1/4 cups chopped walnuts
confectioners' sugar

Directions
In a bowl, combine apricots and coconut. Add milk; mix well. Stir in walnuts. Chill for 30 minutes (the mixture will be sticky). Shape into 1-in. balls and roll in confectioners' sugar. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving. Store in refrigerator.

Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 tablespoons cold butter or margarine

Directions
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar and baking powder. Add egg, milk, butter and lemon peel; mix just until dry ingredients are moistened. Fold in the blueberries. Spread in a greased 9-in. square baking pan. For topping, combine sugar, flour, walnuts and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes or until cake tests done.

Ingredients
1 1/4 cups rolled oats
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
3/4 cup shortening
1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C).
Cream together the shortening, egg and egg yolk. Mix in the sugars, flour, baking soda and salt. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix ingredients at high speed until well mixed, occasionally scraping the sides of the bowl.
Drop with a tablespoon on greased cookie sheet 1 1/2 - 2 inches apart. Bake for 14 minutes or until lightly browned. Immediately remove from sheet and place on wire rack for cooling process.
NOTE: Cookies are great when lightly browned but some enjoy dark. ENJOY!!!

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla until well blended. Stir in flour and cinnamon. Mixture will be thick. Fold in apple and nuts. Spread in prepared baking dish. Sprinkle top with butterscotch chips.
Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, until pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool and cut into squares.

Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
2 (6 ounce) cans artichoke hearts, drained
1/2 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1 (9 inch) unbaked 9 inch pie crust
3 eggs, beaten
1 (8 ounce) package mozzarella cheese, shredded

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute garlic until it starts to brown. Stir in the artichoke hearts and cook 10 minutes before adding the bread crumbs and half of the parmesan cheese. When heated through, transfer half of artichoke mixture to pie crust.
Pour eggs over artichoke mixture and sprinkle in the rest of the parmesan cheese. Spoon the rest of the artichoke mixture into the pie and top with mozzarella cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until crust begins to brown.

Ingredients
1 cup butter
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup white sugar
2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup confectioners' sugar

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream the butter, sugar and egg yolks until light and fluffy. Stir in the vanilla, then the flour, and finally the walnuts.
Roll dough into walnut sized balls, place them 2 inches apart on an unprepared cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Cookies should be slightly brown. Cool and roll cookies in confectioners sugar.

4 Red Delicious apples
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint leaves
4 teaspoons butter

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Core apples and peel off a 1 inch strip around the hole on the top of each apple. Place apples in a shallow baking dish.
Combine raisins, brown sugar, and mint leaves. Fill apples with the raisin mixture. Top the raisin filling in each apple with 1 teaspoon butter.
Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) oven for 50 minutes, until apples are tender.

2 teaspoons butter
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs, browned in butter
20 asparagus tips
5 hard-cooked eggs, chopped

Directions
To Make White Sauce: Melt butter in a small skillet over medium low heat; stir in flour, then milk. Cook until thickened and season with salt and pepper.
Spread 1/2 of the browned bread crumbs in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Add layers of asparagus and chopped egg, alternately. Pour White Sauce over all and top with remaining bread crumbs.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 quart tomato juice
3 cups water
3/4 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
1 envelope onion soup mix

Directions
In a large saucepan, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 15-20 minutes or until macaroni is tender.

1 (15 ounce) can black-eyed peas, rinsed and drained
4 green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons white sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 roma (plum) tomatoes, chopped
1/2 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
minced jalapeno pepper to taste (optional)

Directions
Stir the black-eyed peas, green onions, sugar, olive oil, garlic, tomatoes, cilantro, balsamic vinegar, and salt together in a mixing bowl. Mix in jalapeno peppers, if desired. Cover, and refrigerate at least six hours before serving.

Ingredients
1 1/4 cups water (70 to 80 degrees F)
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
2 teaspoons salt
2 cups bread flour
2 cups whole wheat flour
2/3 cup slivered almonds, toasted
3 teaspoons active dry yeast

Directions
In bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available. Bake according to bread machine directions (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed).

Ingredients
8 slices bacon
1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
1/2 cup red seedless grapes, halved
3 large green onions, chopped
2/3 cup creamy salad dressing
2 tablespoons tarragon vinegar
1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted
1/2 cup raisins

Directions
Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
In a large bowl combine the broccoli, grapes and onions.
Whisk the creamy salad dressing and vinegar together. Toss with broccoli mixture and chill. Just before serving toss with bacon, almonds and raisins.

Ingredients
1/3 cup shortening
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
6 1/2 tablespoons cream cheese
2 tablespoons milk
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 8 inch square baking pan.
To make the crust: In a large bowl, cream shortening and brown sugar. Gradually blend in flour and walnuts. Mixture will be crumbly.
Set aside one cup of crust mixture. Press the rest of the mixture into the bottom of baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
To make filling: in a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar. Add in egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla until well blended.
Spread the filling over warm crust. Sprinkle top with remaining crust mixture. Bake for another 25 to 28 minutes. Let cool on wire racks before cutting.

Ingredients
Nonstick cooking spray
3 pounds broiler-fryer chicken pieces
1 (12 ounce) can Hunt's� Tomato Paste
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
6 cups hot cooked egg noodles (optional)
6 slices bacon, cooked, drained, crumbled
Chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Spray 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Arrange chicken in dish; set aside.
Place tomato paste, water, vinegar, basil and oregano in food processor container; cover. Process until well blended. Pour over chicken.
Bake uncovered 45 to 50 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in thickest part and juices are clear when pierced with tip of knife (175 degrees on meat thermometer). Serve chicken over noodles, if desired. Top with bacon. Garnish with parsley, if desired.

1/3 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
3 tablespoons dried basil
1 1/2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon ground white pepper
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (optional)
1 teaspoon dried minced garlic (optional)

Directions
Place the soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, basil, parsley, and pepper in a blender. Add hot pepper sauce and garlic, if desired. Blend on high speed for 30 seconds until thoroughly mixed.
Pour marinade over desired type of meat. Cover, and refrigerate for up to 8 hours. Cook meat as desired.

Ingredients
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 pound broccoli florets, cooked
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup dry stuffing mix

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Boil chicken until tender and shred or cut into bite size pieces. Meanwhile, steam broccoli until crisp but tender.
In a small bowl mix together the soup and mayonnaise. Set aside. In a 9x13 inch baking dish layer the chicken, broccoli, soup mixture, and cheese. Sprinkle dry stuffing mix over the top and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.

1 cup confectioners' sugar

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8 inch square pan.
In a large saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter. Remove from heat, and stir in sugar, eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat in 1/3 cup cocoa, 1/2 cup flour, salt, and baking powder. Spread batter into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Do not overcook.
To Make Frosting: Combine 3 tablespoons butter, 3 tablespoons cocoa, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 1 cup confectioners' sugar. Frost brownies while they are still warm.

3/4 cup warm water 43 to 45 degrees C (110 to 115 degrees F)
1 cup Kellogg's* All-Bran* Original cereal
1 1/3 cups all-purpose or bread flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded Tex-Mex cheese blend, divided
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 (14 ounce) can refried beans
1/2 cup salsa
1 tablespoon finely chopped jalapeno peppers (optional)
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided
1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion
1/2 cup kalamata olives
1/2 cup sliced sweet red pepper
1/2 cup sliced sweet yellow pepper
1 (10 ounce) can sliced mushrooms

Directions
Crust: In small bowl, stir yeast into warm water. Let stand for 5 minutes. Stir in cereal. Let stand for 5 minutes or until cereal is softened.
In food processor bowl, combine flour, salt and 125 ml (1/2 cup) of the cheese; pulse to mix. Add oil and process for 30 seconds. Add cereal mixture; continue processing for 30 seconds or until dough is formed. Remove and shape into smooth ball. Cover with plastic wrap; let rest in warm place for 10 minutes.
Toppings: In medium bowl, mix together refried beans, salsa, jalapeno peppers and cumin. Set aside.
With heal of hand, on 30 cm (12-inch) pizza pan, press dough out to form crust. Spread with bean mixture. Sprinkle with remaining 125 ml (1/2 cup) Mexican cheese blend and 250 ml (1 cup) of the Monterey Jack cheese. Arrange vegetables over top. Sprinkle top with remaining Monterey Jack cheese.
Bake at 230 degrees C (450 F) for about 12 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is light brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before cutting.

1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
1 cup buttermilk
1 mango - peeled, seeded and diced
1 cup raspberries

Directions
Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
Mix 1/2 cup flour, brown sugar, 1/4 cup butter, and cinnamon together in a bowl until the mixture is the consistency of wet sand. Set the topping aside.
Beat 1/2 cup butter and sugar with an electric mixer in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy. The mixture should be noticeably lighter in color. Add the egg and mix well. Stir in the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, combine 2 cups flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg.
Mix the flour mixture into the creamed butter mixture alternately with the buttermilk, stirring just to combine. After the last of the flour mixture is incorporated, gently fold in the diced mango and raspberries. Spread the batter into the prepared pan (the batter will be thick). Sprinkle with crumb topping.
Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 50 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.

1/2 pound sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled

Directions
On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to 1/4-in. thickness. Cut with a 2-1/2-in. biscuit cutter; brush with 3 tablespoons butter. Place 1 teaspoon of bacon and onion on half of each roll. Fold over and pinch to seal. Place, pinched edge up, in a greased 9-in. square baking pan, forming three rows of six. Brush tops with remaining butter. Let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

In a large skillet, melt remaining butter. Add eggs; cook over medium heat until eggs begin to set, stirring occasionally. Add white sauce; mix well. Cook until the eggs are completely set. Garnish with parsley if desired.
